Cost to students is $400 total, paid in three installments throughout the fall and winter. Our groups will leave EARLY on the morning of Sunday, March 2 and get back to East Lansing late on Saturday, March 8, 2025.
No construction or social work experience is necessary - all sites have local leaders that will instruct students in the use of equipment or offer guidance on fulfilling service tasks. Students who have never used a hammer before take much pride in helping reroof a house every year! Do not be afraid to try something new!

Due to the nature of service trips, some accommodations may require students to provide their own sleeping bags or air mattresses, and sleep in communal space. Each trip offers different accommodations- some are at retreat houses, others are at local churches. All accommodations are guaranteed to be safe, but individuals should be flexible with their expectations for comfort, and be eager to experience a short period of solidarity with those less fortunate.
